Adventures in Dogsitting - an Update

I haven't dogsat in a bit so I thought I'd place an ad on Craigslist. The ad specifically said "no birds". Remember this part...

Am so stuck on my springtimegen story right now. SOOOO STUCK. I know what I want to have happen. I know where I want it to end. I know all of this and yet? I cannot write it.

Same thing with hpslashnotsmut and they're both only due in like two weeks. *fails at deadlines*

Woke up today to no water at the house I'm sitting out. It seems that the main pipes froze last night (we were SUPER cold last night). So, no shower for me *icks*. I had to go buy bottled water for the puppies and cats so that there's something for them to drink because, of course, the way I found out there was no water was that I went to fill the ( Read more... )

I finally found what the people I'm dogsitting at considered my payment. The dogs had started to eat it and it was bundled up in their bedding. We agreed to $60 a night, they paid me $28 a night.
